School Board Policy 7.78(1) {Adequacy of Educational Facilities and Growth Management} calls for the periodic adoption of educational specifications for each level.  Significant changes include site development criteria for physical education and competitive athletics, a decrease in the number of science labs, and a decrease in the number of student stations.  Notable continuations include the building layout, organization into Small Learning Communities, and raised floors in instructional spaces.  Approval of this item will replace the January 2007 High School Ed Specs with the attached version.
